Mission and approach
The Aristotle Racing Team – ART is an organised group of students at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki whose purpose is to design and build a Formula 1-type car annually and then use it to participate in Formula Student races in Europe.
Outcome
For the design of the logo we focused on the characteristics of the team and the dynamics of Student Formula, which are highlighted through typographic forms with indirect reference to dynamic elements included in motor sports. We used typography to emulate the shapes of Formula 1 circuits (as typically represented, viewed from above), creating a visual language that is at the same time both substantive and dynamic.
