Manhattan Projects New York City (MPNYC)

The project establishes a visual language that mirrors the client’s core philosophy: anchoring enduring physical form within a landscape of transient aesthetics. The resulting project scope seamlessly encompasses typographic identity, web architecture and editorial and publication design.

Manhattan Projects New York City (MPNYC) is a progressive architecture and design studio operating internationally across New York City, London and Athens. MPNYC needed an authoritative identity, a highly functional digital archive, and a permanent print publication that could collectively communicate the physical weight, structural clarity and timeless nature of their built environments.

Our studio engineered a new visual language rooted in typographic expression and structural grid, delivering across three primary touch points.

For the monolithic typography, we developed a layout where letterforms function like architectural blocks. By stripping away all decorative elements, the wordmark uses pure geometry and raw graphic space to assert immediate structural weight.

The web architecture was constructed as a permanent, low-friction digital registry. The responsive interface is a rigid framework, ensuring the underlying code remains invisible while the architecture remains in absolute focus.

Finally, we materialized the studio’s philosophy through a tactile print publication. Utilizing precise production techniques this editorial artifact anchors the fluid nature of digital media into a permanent physical record, perfectly mirroring the enduring spaces MPNYC creates.
