Future Format, Elements 2 (Reflective Future)

In the afterglow of our award-winning identity design for Future Format, there was no pause in developing new ideas for deepening the printer’s ongoing dialogue with culture. “Elements 2” is a snapshot of a business in full bloom: print publishing at its most ambitious, assembled from the collective energy of Greece’s brightest artistic talents.

Recognition for Future Format’s 2021 identity reset attracted significant international attention, building strong momentum for a subsequent showcase publication. Maintaining and surpassing the high standards set by “Elements 1” meant the stakes were high. It was a task that called for high levels of curiosity, coordination, and creative experimentation.

The Elements publications demonstrate a distinctive approach to building a brand identity over time: showcasing Future Format’s skills and sensibility through the curation of work by creatives within its orbit. For a business that has channelled so much of its energy and expertise into celebrating culture, “Elements 2” is an apt outlet: both a manifesto and a menu of limitless possibilities. Many years of collaborating with publishers and museums have made us experts in concept development and curation, guiding us towards this culmination.

Many thanks to Tony Brook (Spin, London, UK), Marilena Astrapellou, Stavros Martinos, and all the collaborating artists.
